Marion Garden Club is involved in a number of civic projects with most of them continuing from year to year. Planting and maintaining flowerbeds is done throughout the gardening season while projects such as the Arbor Day Celebration is once a year. Garden Therapy and Youth projects are planned for two or more times a year.
The Club hosts three fundraisers to fund activities. Two plant sales are held in May. A garden tour including an educational display and another plant sale is held in June.
During the year, the Club participates in other activities often requested by area civic or non-profit groups.

In addition, members help with District VII, Garden Clubs of Illinois, Inc. projects.
The Club not only uses their funds for civic projects, they make monetary donations to District, State, and National Garden Club projects and local organizations helping the community.
